Was looking forward to using USB and a 3amp cube to charge my UV9G. Charged all day and stopped at 8.10v. Green light on cable and red light on charge base. Plugged into regular Baofeng wallwart and it continued charging. Left the USB charging all day! Not enough to top off battery and no green light on base but green on cable is a no go! Going to return and replace and cross fingers for a working base light that turns green with cable and tops off at 8.4v like all other UV9G batteries do with wallwart

Wanted to supplement my ability to charge the batteries for my Baofeng GMRS-9R. Essentially the same charger that ships with the radio, except this one uses an USB power port.

Radioddity has mentioned that all UV-9R accessors work with UV-9G. I have a UV-9G and this works with it.
