A very nice heavy duty kick plate. It much much thicker than I was expecting. I also had to trim off 1/2" in length for it to fit my door. When I cut it with my grinder cutoff wheel I got no sparks so it much be solid brass. Very satisfied!

Don Jo was the most unsatisfactory merchant of the hundreds of orders from Amazon. No protection whatsoever. Of course, the items were damaged, but I had time constraints so I had to use them, after trying to mitigate the damage.
