Honestly, I bought this patio heater thinking it might be overkill but my two cats have officially claimed it as their throne. They used to run inside the moment it got chilly, but now they lounge outside well into the evening like little royalty. The heat is gentle but surprisingly effective, and it’s quiet, which is a big plus (they hate loud noises). It also looks sleek and doesn’t clash with the rest of my patio setup. If you’re the kind of pet parent who’s okay with your cats living better than you, this is totally worth it.

First, this is a 1500 watt heater. It plugs into a standard outlet and doesn't require an electrician to run a new wire--so if you are wanting a heater that will pour out heat like a commercial heater, you'll need to get one of those (or say, a propane unit). But I'm very happy with this one. Was wanting a radiant heater, really don't care for fans blowing my heat if I have a choice. I am using this in my milking parlor because AFTER buying a milking machine, I find out that they must operate at temperatures above freezing. This heater wasn't enough for that in the coldest part of winter, but the rest of the time (central Oklahoma), it was perfect. Safer than a heater that sits on the floor where the resident cats might knock into it, and since it has a simple pull chain, I could use a simple plug-in timer to have it cycling on when I needed it. It would be great for a patio heater as well, if your patio is rather protected or in similar situations.

Online description inaccurately describes this heater as having a 2000 W setting. It does not.

Replaced part that broke after the 30 day return was over. Received it in the mail about a week and a half ago. If your reading this owner/customer service I never received the video showing how to install the part. Would help immensely. Thanks!!

I’ve had two of these now, as other reviews note - these things are built to last 4-6 weeks, tops. When working, they really don’t provide that much heat.Don’t waster your time.

So my garage isn’t huge but it’s enclosed. I got this cuz the ad says it’s for outdoor, windy areas. Umm absolutely not. As I said my garage is enclosed and it can’t even heat that very well. It’s only maybe 8ft wide and 19ft long and 7ft tall. This heater would do well perhaps in an enclosed smaller patio or sunroom. But must be an insulated areaUpdate… I’ve only used this some since Jan and 1 of the filaments is already out. Look elsewhere

Right size and color. Good value. Plan to use only on the 600 w level as we did not hard-wire the item on our covered porch. The wire coming off the top of the light fixture is impossible to camouflage as it is strung across to a wall for either plugging or wiring. Nevertheless, with the help of some conduit I was able to straighten the plug wire and make it look better.

This product is great so long as your expectations are within it’s capacity. We hung it right above where we lounge on our patio and can stay outside comfortably much longer with it’s warmth. Our dog likes to hunker under it, too. The wind will disperse the heat and render it ineffective. Thinking of getting a second one for further down the couch.

Using ours in an outdoor pergola. It’s more of a light than a heater as it produces very little heat on high. Thought maybe it needed time to warm up, but after 15 minutes the heat produced is quite limited. It’s very stylish and easy - just wished it was more functional as a heating device.
