The black tank gets way too hot for storing gas, tanks kind of look pregnant 😂. If you leave the vent cracked open gas will run down the side of the tank.

Looks good but the mounting bolts are cheap. They rust immediately and the heads strip easily. Hard to get a perfect alignment so the door does not close well. Also, tough to get out the factory bolts.

I order this for my friend's Jeep. It fits good. Only problem was we got only 3 screws instead of 4.

Great product fits perfect the hardware is durable and comes with everything pictured and makes my jeep look cool af ive gotten alot of compliments, but like the other review sais if you have a jk use the two jl bumpers in the front and one jk bumper in the back, and goodluck with you hinges… use heat*** anyways love the product wish it was cheaper so i could afford more at once.

First use of the can, it leaks out of the vent hole and out of the side of the spout where it then leak’s all over the side of the Jeep.

If you're a JK, use the JL inside bumpers. This thing fits fine to a JK but the washer bumpers are not adequate. I switched and used the JL's and it's much better.

UPDATE:I've been in contact with the manufacturer and they are working on a solution to the issue of the handle separating from the screw. They have offered a resolution to the issue for me and I have offered to help resolve the issue with the handle. I will update further as this progresses but their willingness and desire to fix this for the community has really gone a long way to me supporting their product and company. I think this is too good of an implementation of this idea to let this one issue remain a problem.ORIGINAL POST:I love the actual bracket that mounts to the door but when I put the can on it and threaded the retainer in, the bolt inside of it came loose and the handle came off in my hand. It appears that the piece is too short and easily damaged. I tried to get a replacement handle from Amazon but their policy is garbage. So, I tried to find contact information for the manufacturer with no luck. Tomorrow, I will replace the screw in the handle and weld it in if I have to do that. I am frankly disappointed with the lack of quality of that single part and I hope that SHEAM addresses this. Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend this item as any pressure on that handle will result in you losing the handle and the gas can. I may retro fit this set up to use the Rotopax mounts instead as they are much more robust and can actually lock keeping the gas cans from being stolen.

No complaints it installed very easy on my 2017 Rubicon. It looks great.I used one JK rubber bumper and two JL rubber bumpers at the back.First tried it with all JK but as you can see from the picture, they are too short.Guessing it might vary from vehicle to vehicle, so take a look before you fully tighten.
