Plug and play. Inexpensive. Exact fit. If I knew how quiet it was I would have switched both doors, lol. At this point, only time will tell.

The actuator appears to be a quality product and it worked electrically. However, mine stopped working manually. I needed to operate it electrically to open the door. The occupant cannot unlock the door by pulling on the door knob. I don’t know at what point the actuator failed, but it was fewer than 10 operating cycles. I recommend leaving the door panel off until you’re sure that the actuator works properly. I also recommend buying the OEM actuator. It won’t last more than a couple of years, but the build quality is better than aftermarket.

I bought 2 of these in 2020. Installation wasn't the most fun I've ever had, but wasn't entirely awful either. Fast forward to 2023 and I'm ordering 2 more because the previous ones have died already. Would have appreciated getting at least 5 years out of them, but it is what it is. I would have ordered different ones, but these still have the highest ratings of what I could fine.Just beware, these are, apparently, not a long term solution and you will need to rebuy. For one door it simply does not work at all and now the other one makes a loud buzzing when locking the door, as if gears are grinding. Having to buy them again really makes them less of a value.

This review is being written only after a few days of use and it is subject to change as time progresses. As of right now, item works perfectly. Seems to be built well and high-quality. My experience is that a lot of these aftermarket actuators begin pooping out within a year or two. Let's see what happens with this one!

Works as expected and still working well after one month -- it is so nice having the power door locks working!Not as easy to install as I would have liked, but this is a Dodge / Chrysler issue for NOT placing the HOLE to access the release screw in the correct place for the passenger-side sliding door. I ended up drilling a hole as many have suggested, but before doing so, I wedged a piece of wood between the old lock actuator and metal that I needed to drill through to stop the drill bit from damaging anything after making its hole through the metal.Also make sure to test this lock actuator before you install it by plugging it in to the old actuator's plug.Then test it again after installing it, but before putting the door panels back on again by closing the door and making sure it actually locks and unlocks -- make sure to get the LOCK PIN (the part that actually locks and unlocks the door) back in the correct groove of the rotating arm (see YouTube videos for details)!
