Works well for my needs. My daughter loves trying to smash her hand in the door and even as she’s getting older (16 months) we still have them on the doors soShe can’t slam them and of course so she can’t pinch her fingers still. They stay on snug for our basic doors. The only con is how much she wanted to chew them when we first got them 😂 nothing his the spot like some foam. Would definitely buy again but I doubt I’d have to these seem like they’ll last.

I don’t have kids, but I do have a need to make sure doors don’t close. The pinch guards keep doors from slamming on windy days. They keep the door open enough so the cat can get to the litter box but we don’t have to have that particular door wide open all the time. These work fine; in fact they work better than any other alternative I have tried. They are effective and quiet and will last forever. Having a six-pack is good. Sometimes my niece comes over and I have to use a few more of these. And several of my guests have wanted to try them out. The really nice thing is that these match my woodwork — the white pinch guard blends right into my white doors and white door frames. I am very happy with these.

This baby proofing can help prevent baby getting injury temporarily. They are not a long time solution. They are easy for baby to reach and not food-grade. It is risky when baby reaches it and chews it as it can become loose over time, slip off the door and deforms easily.

If you have a kid who loves to open and close the door by slamming it, this is good to stop the door from closing, but it will also probably break really fast because of it. You could get the same or better results from a pool noodle that you cut up, except that you’d get more pieces for less money 🤷🏻♀️

They are big pieces of foam, bigger than I imagined, but they do work well to offer a gap from not being able to close door. They may not look wide enough to put on door but they do fit snug, just need to pull/widen the pinch over the side of the door.They are cushioned enough to handle auto closing doors like my door between garage and house, preventing the door from slamming and still function ok. Although I do wonder if they will wear down over time from the repeated door slams, but will worry about that when the time comes.I got this for use with infant and toddler. But unlike how they depict in the product listing photos, I would put the door pinch way up high, away from toddler/kid reach, way above the door handle. Otherwise, the toddler/kid might be able to mess with it or take it off with enough force.

These are great for keeping little fingers from getting pinched in door ways. Even if you have a safe kid, they might just be a victim of others that close doors with disregard of fingers. If you have ever had your finger caught in the hinge side of a door, you will know the need for these. They are simple and effective. Having 6 in a package really covers a lot of doors without having to buy a lot of individual ones or not having enough. I would always throw one in your bag for traveling to other locations to prevent the same kind of hazards. They also work great for holding the door ajar when bringing in groceries from the garage into the house. It helps to not have to put the groceries down to keep opening the door, trip after trip. No slamming doors either when kids decide to roughhouse. These are great for so many reasons. They are well made and light. Even if the kids decide to throw them around, there will be no harm. They are also nice looking so no bright colors or ugly looks from other materials that are sometime used. These are a good buy!

What a great and simple idea! Easy to use. You can put them or remove them right away. We get them for our baby, but honestly even if you don't have any babies or pets these can be useful even to air closets or bathrooms, or even to avoid slamming doors.

Love these so much. They don’t damage the doors. You can put them high so kiddos can’t reach them.
