I found the guard and back cover to be of very nice quality and craftsmanship. The multi ply material looks fantastic and comes with the protective film to keep it perfect until peeled at assembly. I have to buy more for my other guitars in a couple other colors now that I know they are in fact of excellent quality.

Seems to function and format just like the original. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because I can't speak for durability yet

It's ok, actually looks pretty great for as cheap as it is. The tortoise shell is a bit weird... the yellow you see isn't reflective at all, it's literally just yellow. I have mixed feelings about it.A side note, I seen someone complaining about the thin layer of plastic coming up. It's supposed to. There are 2 thin layers of plastic, one comes off easily the other is a challenge. You should remove both of them completely. And let me tell you, I was very unimpressed with how it looked before I realized this and pulled the second layer off. Its much more vibrant and glossy without that plastic. So if you have that extra tough to peel layer on yours still, go peel it off, you'll be glad you did.As noted and pictured, middle screw holes for the trem don't match. Not cool.

Fit pretty good on my Squier Affinity strat. The pattern is a deep reddish/maroon with a dark yellow tortoise swirl. Looks good. I love it. The trem plate holes were off a bit but not an issue for me. Either leave it off or drill a couple new holes. This was for a relic Partscaster so no harm done. Great price!

Good quality Plastic! Excellent look and feel! Just like original. Had a small issue and the customer service is great! They are very willing to work with me to get it right. Even going to upgrade product in the future based on feedback. Double check the back plate hole spacing for your guitar, some have LH orientation and some have RH, depending on the year. Fender can't seem to make up their mind over time. Excellent seller, Thanks!

Nothing subtle about the pattern on the sample I received; large blobs of bright yellow color among the darker color that is too red. If this is a tortoise effect then that was one wild looking turtle. I'm keeping it because it's not worth the hassle of sending it back. But will try again later from another source.

Was a little skeptical to order at first but gave it a shot. Both the pick guard and trem cover plate came with 2 layers of film for protection. One was looser and the other was to keep it completely scratch free. Not only is it satisfying peeling it off but both pieces looked glossy and perfectly scratch free. Great buy!
