Original shaft had a lot of play in it. Replacement shaft fit great and eliminated the original steering shaft play. Very good quality and perfect fit. Used on 2003 Ford F150 4x4. Very happy with it.

Bought this for my 2002 Expedition it fits perfectly. The rubber boot that goes through the firewall fits perfectly, other ones don’t fit well and it is very loud in your cabin. I bought a cheaper one and they are junk had to send them back. Bit the bullet on this one and pay the extra money.

This extendo shaft fit prefect on my vehicle. The dust seal that wraps around the shaft is really tight and made a series of grunting noises when turning though. I had to use the blown out dust seal to stop the noise.

Product fixed play in steering, but design of upper portion of shaft that goes through firewall boot was significantly smaller than boot hole allowing road and engine noise to enter cab area. Will be returning per manufacturers recommendation.

Perfect fit for a 1998 Ford F150. Installation was very easy, one screw at each end. Old shaft was a little loose , but not at the joints, but at the slide. Always gave me a little clunk when turning. New one tightened up my steering just like new. Best price I could find. Local stores wanted about $300.00. Dealer $350.00.

Not Happy with this item. these only go on one way as the ends are slotted, I had my steering locked and tied center, wheels on the ground but, now my steering wheel is off a full 1/4 turn so I have to pay $80.00 for a alignment. I am a retired (35 years) auto and truck master tech and have installed these more times than I can remember just not this brand, when they put the ends on the shaft at the factory they installed one off center, like I said these only install on your vehicle one way due to being slotted so as long as you don't turn the front wheels or steering wheels you should still have a straight steering wheel. What really makes me unhappy is 2 months ago I replaced the idler arm so a front end alignment was needed that I paid $80.00 for and now have to pay again. I know the shop manager at the shop I go to so he is giving me 20% off of the alignment due to this poor made part. do yourself a favor and spend the extra $38.00 and get the dealer part.
