Fit properly, no cutting. Hose is very tight. Definitely have to use force to install, won’t leak that’s for sure. 2007 Colorado, 2.9l.

The shape is correct and it is made from good quality material. The fit onto the nipples on the airbox and valve cover are pretty tight. I eventually got it all the way on, but it took some effort. It's definitely not going to leak.

Replacing this hose on my 06 hummer H3 and cleaning out the valve cover where the other pcv hose is (which was clogged) fixed my oil light and starvation problem. Basically the oil was staying up in the valve cover and not draining down because this house would claps under vacuum making it like a suction in the valve cover. This is a very common problem in these 5 cylinders and what happens is on the other pcv hose (the intake side or driver side) if you remove the hose and use something small like a little drill bit to poke down in there they tend to get clogged then spray some intake cleaner in, should fix this issue without removing the valve cover. Just do it before an oil change so any gunk won't stay in your engine.
