Both of my center vents on my 98’ 4runner were broken and I didn’t want to pay the price for OEM ones so I bought a couple of these. Not much to much to say about them, they fit good, function and look they should (OEM). Only complaint I have is the price. Around 17 bucks for one is outrageous. This costed me 35 bucks. Even though these are way cheaper than buying it from Toyota the price is still steep. Either way I’m happy with them. The plastic at least seems pretty good quality. The only other option is to try and pull some out of a junkyard vehicle but good luck trying to find ones that aren’t broken, and if they aren’t good luck trying not to break them getting them out.

Installed in 1998 4runner. Center vents were all broken and stuck from what I can assume is years of drink splashes from the utterly ignorant placement of the "cup holders". These took a little work to get situated in the mounts, but fit nicely and work great. Would recommend. Would buy again.

Simply, it fit easily into our truck, I was able to install it in seconds.This air vent is almost identical to our existing vent, only difference is it has 2 vertical supports that are not in the old vent. The difference is almost imperceivable.

My center vents on my 1997Toyota 4Runner were worn out, and these replaced them perfectly. It didn't come with instructions, but I turned it to the back was front, and there is a spot on both sides to squeeze on the outside edges and remove the old one. Put the new one in upside down, roll it so it's backwards, and snap it in. Then roll it forward. Pay attention to which is top.

This is a perfect fit for the center vents in the dash of a 99 4runner. Bought two and replaced my old cracked ones that were falling apart. Easy replacement and great fit. I can now direct the airflow again, which is crucial in a vehicle with a large cab.

Read the reviews, figured I’d try to save a few bucks vs the OEM part. I swapped out both so they’d match if the color wasn’t right. After cleaning my center console, any difference in color could be attributable to 20+ years of sun. Unnoticeable, really. So I’m happy about that!Mostly I’m writing to tell you that this fits all 3rd gen 4Runners, as I hadn’t seen anyone talk about fitment in the 2000-2002 models. Physically, it’s nearly identical to the original part, with a couple of tiny differences in the lines or the molding.Very happy with my purchase!

This dash vent does the trick. It fits 1998 Toyota Tacoma Base truck, center dash position just right. This is a great deal for replacement vents. Ive looked high-and-low, Ebay, etc and just cannot find at all. Little tricky installing though - just put some oil or vasaline around the vent while pushing into position. Try not to put in the left-side 1st as many video's tell you to....it just gets stuck that way. Instead, w/ a lubricant around it, just push into position evenly and slowly....Its REALLY tight....but I got mine to go in....Looks Great, Works Great!
