I bought a Ford F150 which had the magic spark plug fix done. The boot was cracked and I had no idea where to buy one. I did find this which was great but in my case I ended up not needing it. It turns out that the Dorman insert was not installed well and the cylinder was leaking hot gases past the spark plug causing the boot to burn and crack. The mechanic showed me the problem and I have since had a proper repair done on the head with an insert allowing me to use the original factory spark plug and factory boot.I never installed the boot and I had the boot for greater than 30 days so I can not return it. I'm glad to know that a replacement was available. I just wish I had not rushed to buy a replacement. Check to make sure that the insert was installed properly before buying this.
