Bought this along with the rear mount to fix the infamous clunk when putting the transmission in reverse. It did the job and seemed to be a quality product.HOWEVER! Installing this is completely different than the rear mount. The rear mount can be done in 10 minutes.For me, this required the dropping off the exhaust, both shocks (be sure not to stretch/damage your brake lines), the rear differential carrier, and unbolting the drive shaft. Plus in the process one of my captured studs broke free in the frame and required welding before reassembly.Don't avoid replacing this part if it needs to be done, just set aside a weekend in case anything goes wrong. Also Seafoam Deep Creep or PB Blaster on all your carrier bolts/nuts is highly recommend.

There is a mod where Rav4 owners use some kind of liquid rubber product to fill in the factory bushing instead of replacing this part. Don't do that. It is a bandaid for a critical component. This is VERY difficult to replace if you do not have a lift in your garage but is well worth the frustration once you see just how mushy the factory rubber becomes over the years. I could move the bolt that was in the rubber of the factory part with my pinky. It was that soft. This lack of firmness in the rubber causes the rear differential to rotate quite a bit and wears out the rear rubber mount as well.You have to drop the differental/control arm cradle about 6-8 inches which is very difficult to do on the ground and with springs/arms still on. If I had to do it again I would have removed the springs and control arms then drop the cradle. Removing the original part is super simple but getting access to it is a pain.Note: removing/dropping the differential cradle will most likely require an alignment. Keep that in mind.Great part but I cannot comment on durability yet.

All the pieces you need are included. IF you have ramps and a floor jack, you can install this with the common garage wrenches. What a difference. Be sure to order the rear differential support at the same time! (Ten minute installation for that one.)
