VQ infinitys are notorious for the plastic heater hose coupler breaking. This replaces that without having to spend way too much on the Z1 part. With a GKtech swirl pot and this fitting, cooling system is bulletproof.

The original piece is made out of plastic. It hardens over time and can just plain crack and fail anytime after about 6 years. if it does and you're out on the road?????? Believe me, you don't want to wait for that. This metal connector will NEVER fail. The hose on either side can someday, but this will last a lifetime.

I used this part to replace the 3/4" heater hose connector on my 2012 Infiniti G37. The OEM part is plastic and it essentially crumbled to pieces. Before ordering through Amazon, I tried two local auto parts stores where I was told it was not in stock and that they could order the part. So much easier to order the part yourself and have it delivered to your front door. Happy with my purchase.
