Sorry dad, I fixed your lawn mower, but I... kinda lost the return spring...Amazon the rescue. This thing works great! I used it on a push mower, and it works really well. For smaller engines, don't doubt this thing! It may not fit, but the siring wiring is of a high enough gauge that you can just cut it and bent a new hook into it. That's what I did, and it works wonderfully.

When ordering such items listing the SIZE would be helpful. Otherwise these are small high quality stainless springs that work well for something like a carburator return spring
