It worked just fine however the splines that are supposed to hold the wipers in place are very poorly designed. You have to really crank down the nut otherwise it's going to slip. I did notice others had the same issue and I thought maybe it was just something they were doing wrong but it's not a good design. After tightening the nut much tighter than it should need, everything works properly but only time will tell if the splines strip out. I kind of expect them to if somebody tries to push the snow off of the window with the wipers.

Bought this for my 2007 Silverado 1500 LS Crew Cab as the bushing that attached to the motor split in half....and for some reason, finding a replacement of that bushing is nearly impossible...but I digress. My truck was manufactured in Canada so I had to make sure to get the proper one. Not to digress again, but this is an annoyance in and of itself. But so be it. I shopped around and wasn’t keen on random third party makers so I bought this one.Packaging was atrocious. Box was way oversized and it was flopping around inside of it like a hotdog in a hallway. By the time it made it to me one of the arms was sticking out three inches. Not sure if it came from an Amazon warehouse or a third party seller (my guess is the latter if I recall correctly) but either way whomever was on packing duty that day was a couple sandwiches short of a picnic. Luckily, there was no damage. The quality of the linkage and bushings is right up there with the OEM I took out. Transferring the motor over was a breeze and it fit like a glove in the cowl area. Install can be a little tricky especially in terms of putting the link to the motor in the right place so the wipers come to rest correctly (TRUST me that you will want to test this with the wipers on before you put the cowl back together...else you’ll get good and taking it all apart over and over). The only thing I don’t like (reason for the 4-star rating) is the way the wiper arms attach to the studs. They just don’t seat as firmly and snuggly as the OEM. You have to tighten them down a lot or else you can literally ‘strip’ them (move the wipers without the arm moving) with way too much ease. Given that wiper movement is the main function of this whole setup, seems like a bad place to drop the ball in manufacturing. That said, when tight, they work. I just don’t have the faith in the wiper arm connection as I did with the OEM...to the point where I contemplated taking the one bushing out that I needed and turning the new wiper transmission into abstract yard art, you know, maybe plant it upright in the ground and tape a pinwheel or two to it. Breeze-a-licious!But hey, all told, if I needed to, I would purchase again...reluctantly. You know what...nah, I would just take the old one that I saved and swap the bushing out. Looks like my next Amazon search is for pinwheels. Wonder if they’re Prime eligible? Probably order two and they’ll come loose in a box big enough for an oversized microwave....*sigh*.
