It looks the same but the sensor won't plug into it. The plug is different.

This replaced the cracking original tank on my aging Audi TT. This unit seems to be of good quality, and came complete with a new pressure cap. Fit was perfect, and replacement accomplished in just a few minutes. In my case, the fluid sensor level plug did require slight modification in order for the locking tab to engage, hence 4 stars instead of 5, but it was just a few more minutes with a file to correct this.

Just like OE fit perfect and comes with cap. Has low coolant sensor in it so just mount a plug up.

This is my 2nd purchase. The last one lasted many years and eventually broke, but it broke at the same upper coolant return as the OEM version. I attribute this flaw to VW design vs this product's manufacturing/quality.

It fits and works, but just like pretty much everything from dorman expect to have to modify it to work. The plug for coolant level is too small for the seal in the factory plug to fit. With a little modification it will work though. If you have time to wait for OEM get a factory one.

I loved how fast I was able to get this. My beetle is almost 16 years old and her reservoir was just as old. This is a perfect fit and is very sturdy. Thank goodness I could get it overnighted as no one in town had them available.

Bought this for my 2008 vw city golf. It's an exact fit. Didn't have to move anything out of the way. Easy install. An it's design is way better than the OEM one. Now I can syphon out coolant easily if I want to. 5 stars for now. Let's see how it holds up. Took a while to receive it. But worth the wait. So far '
