Had to order this item twice because first one came in damage in transport. Poor packaging.Once I got the second one, almost 2 weeks later.Super easy to remove old part and put new one in place.Problem solver!

First time replacing my coolant reservoir at 75k on my 2017 promaster. I thought my tank was original (bought van used with 7500 miles) but the lower coolant hose already had a stainless band clamp vs oem the clic style clamps.The one i removed had several cracks in the side and bottom yet somehow still retained coolant.The dorman replacement arrived in just the oem cardboard box with no paper or air cushioning. I couldn't find any cracks but I'm still checking daily to see if I can find any. The packaging it the reason for the lower score. The Dorman unit looks and feels OEM to me.I also took a utility blade and some sandpaper and slightly trimmed down the retention tab on the cap so it still locks but is manageable to remove without stressing the entire plastic assembly (you need to apply an upward lift while loosening the cap to get it to release?)

Does your Ram Promaster have a cracked and leaking coolant reservoir like mine? Well...you are in luck.1. Purchase this item.2. Replace with new reservoir.Okay...it is slightly more complicated...but not much more! I will edit this with detailed instructions/tips if anyone asks.I recommend this item.
