Mechanic at O'Reilly's said their was some recall on some of these. But my item I installed & thankful it's working perfectly. Even has extra fins. No problems whatsoever. Great product hopefully will hold up for years through this very humid areas in Kentucky.

I went through one fan assembly that was labeled made in China, and my car sounded like a rocketship on the redlights and parking lots. The car wasn't overheating but the bearings on the fan were ridiculously loud. There were also counter balance weights on the fan assemblies I noticed when I was installing. I requested a replacement be sent to me and this time, a fan assembly made in Taiwan shows up at my house. This assembly seemed to have fans that were raised and not sitting completely flush, which additionally made it hard to install as well. After the install of the the second one, car is running like OEM with no noise or any other issues. Quality assurance from the product made in China needs to be audited.

This fits on my 2009 VW Jetta Wagon. My old fan wont turn off and it kept running. It seems to be a quality part. No problems so far.

j ai une passat tdi 2013 le cadre que nous recevons est plus petit que l originalet ne fait pas .mais ca prend environ 20minute pour enlever les ventilaleurs et les posées dans le cadre original et ca fonctionne parfaitement.probleme regler.

The fans are thicker and sticks out from the shroud more that the original ones.However, the assembly fits well 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen Trendline with 2.5L gas engine.Check Dorman web page to check whether the assembly fits your VW before purchase.

This part fit our 2013 Sportwagen S perfectly and was easy to install. Make sure to carefully take the clips for the hose and the electrical connection off of your old one. It seems to be of much better quality than the factory one. Ours completely shredding while driving and the parts that were left were a lot thinner than the ones on this part. The shroud is definitely more beefy. Easy to do yourself as long as you have jack stands that are high enough to pull it out and put it back in. I found it easier to pull the new up from the top once I got it partially in place under the car instead of wrestling it in from the bottom.

Although Amazon said this is the right product for my vehicle... It did not fit. When I tried to select the correct item for my vehicle, Amazon said that that was incorrect. I had to pull the fans out and put them onto my old original assembly. The correct model is Dorman 620-805, but Amazon says it won't fit...but it does.
