It fit perfectly, though I wish I could have had the option to purchase the individual piece of hose that broke.

This Dorman heater hose fit perfect on the traverse. With a little bit of elbow grease you’ll have this installed and your traverse will be back on the road. It’s an exact fit and has the upgraded metal T fitting included. Good product. I’ve always like Dorman parts because they make quality problem solving parts.

Fit perfectly without any adjustments or cutting. I would have liked if they had subbed out those ridiculous spring clamps but that is the Oe fitment. 25% cheaper than anywhere else

(Important note - GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook are clones. 90%+ of the parts-- for overlapping model years-- are interchangeable. This is to your advantage; you have a wide variety of choices. It can be a bear to get out.I purchased this instead of the cheaper-priced version on Amazon because the center T-connector piece is made out of machined aluminum, which is MUCH better than plastic and will guarantee a long life from this part. There are a number of other vehicles that I have that have this kind of after-market upgrade and the reason is simple: manufacturers pass on making higher quality parts due to it affecting the bottom line. To put cheaper plastic parts in vehicles costs significantly less than making sure a part lasts for 200K miles. If you are handy under the hood, this is a straightforward fix. You'll need to remove the intake manifold which is a simple turn of two screw clamps. Tug and pull to remove it, could take some work depending on the hardness of the rubber. Now you'll have everything is exposed and it will just take a lot of tugging and grunting to get the old hose off. Be sure to understand how the GM clamps work. Simple, but again, if you haven't seen them in action it could be frustrating. For a walk-through with tips and tricks check out "DIY saturn outlook hose heater hose replacement" on YT.From there top off your fluid via the radiator fill cap (not via the expansion tank). Let the car run to get air bubbles out of the system, check for leaks, and you are on your way.Thank you Dorman for upgrading this part and I look forward to seeing what other parts you've "OE fixed" :D
