The fitment to the engine and y pipe is great, although the block off plate that is on the side of the manifold leaks. The gasket failed on first startup and I’ve been struggling to get it to seal properly without blowing out gaskets or sealant due to the poor design with one bolt on one side of the plate.

This manifold delivered the kind of fit and quality that I have come to expect from Dorman. Just good enough to get the job done 50% of the time. It lined up on the head ok, but it came with an extra port on the side of manifold. This port is blocked off with a cover that is guaranteed to leak right out of the box. The cover is held on by a stud, that if you attempt to tighten, will instantly strip the hole with what couldn't be more than two ft/lbs of torque. I would recommend trying to find an original manifold at you local scrap yard before buying this. If this is your only option, make sure you have an M16 tap and bolt to plug that extra port.
