Bought for a 2003 Mazda MPV van. This car has a Ford 3.0 V-6 engine in it. The factory hose was getting cracked so I bought this one for a replacement. It appeared to be identical but the rubber at the bellows was too stiff to allow it to compress between the air cleaner and the throttle body. I even unbolted the air cleaner assembly, still didn't fit. Returned to Amazon. I have purchased other Dorman intake hoses and didn't have any problems. It's possible that this unit has been sitting on a shelf for some time and the rubber has hardened.

Fixed our 2005 Mazda MPV LX! Matched the OEM part perfectly. Our MPV had a split in the old hose which was creating many related problems like a low oil pressure light (air leak caused low idle) and CEL (check engine light). The split was very hard to see and the computer diagnostics wasn't helping either. We just purchased this new/old MPV and this will be the first thing to check if the CEL returns. The original intake hose was so hard you couldn't hardly change the air filter. The new Dorman hose was very flexible in comparison.

It does what is supposed to do. It fit perfectly in my Mazda.It was a pain to remove the old one. Not very easy to put the new one, but not terrible hard.
