The Dorman window replacement motor is a quality selection. I have used these in both my Subaru's with great success. Installation is quick with the correct tools and they just work. Take the shortcut and don't remove the entire lift mechanism. With a 90° screwdriver using a PH3 JIS bit the job takes less than 20 minutes.

If you've gotten this far, you know what you're doing. Yes, this fits perfectly. And frankly, the window goes up and down faster the other's which are all still factory motors.

IT WORKS!! That by far is the best thing about this product. Installing these motors is not an easy task! If it doesn’t work, well, you are kinda screwed! I trust Dorman they make good quality replacement parts! Can’t go wrong.

It just works and less expensive than the dealer price. Great youtube videos out to replacing only the motor. Took me less than 2 hours with very little experience. I had to view the videos again to remove the panel and the motor. I advise getting a small mirror with the extension so you could see the screws on the motor.

Good OEM fit for a great price. It was easy to replace and works just as it should. Hopefully the durability is good. The one pictured is for the driver side door on my 07 forester. Tools you will need to replace this without removing the whole window mechanism is a small ratchet set that you can put a Phillips screw driver bit into. The three screw heads will face out on the door so you will have to change it with just touch.

Got a front right, numbers correct on web site, box and all paperwork. Item in box was front left. Had to buy a front left to get a front right.Somewhere in the factory these are being boxed the wrong way round. Does fit and so far worked OK though and price is right.

This window motor worked great for 2 months. Then it stopped working. Besides not working very long, it was difficult to install. It took me about 3 hours to do the job. The difficulty is that you can only slightly see what you are doing. You are working inside of the door and there are lots of pieces to disassemble and reassemble without actually seeing them. You end up with your arms and hands scratched and cut because of all the sharp edges inside the door. I would not buy another Dorman brand item.
