Not sure why the bad reviews, but this product worked perfect for my 1999 Ford Taurus SE. Exact replacement as the OEM part and much cheaper.

I purchased two of these to replace both in the trans. First one snapped flush (I was putting it in by hand and torqued to spec), but didn’t even get close to it being in all the way. Second one has been in for a month now and started leaking HEAVILY...I digress

Better off with OEM part. When I tightened it snug, it broke off, leaving half the part stuck inside the transmission housing. After removal I replaced withMotorcraft part with no problems. I do not recommend this part.

Not sure how many stars to give as this part did not fit my car, though Amazon (and other stores) said it would. In the end the transmission cooler lines I have are smaller diameter and they will not seat in this Dorman replacement part. And of course by the time I installed them (doing a transmission rebuild) and noticed the problem I was past the window allowing me to return them.
