We needed a new mirror switch for our Tahoe and this one was perfect.It functions and fits as the original did.Some of the cheaper options have fitment issues where the left/right selector is really tight and hard to move, but this one does not have that issue.It is more expensive than some others, but it is worth it.

Bought this to replace the switch that came when the car was new and that was no longer providing full control of up and down mirror adjustment. Found a YouTube video that described how to install it, and happily my vehicle was one that did not require the door interior to be removed in order to do the replacement. Popped up the armrest cover on which it is mounted, used a small screwdriver to carefully pry it from the mounting bracket, removed the electrical plug with all the wires, reversed the procedure, and I was done in under five minutes. Couldn't have been easier and it works perfectly.

I bought a used truck a couple of years ago. It's been great - except the mirror switch died. I did without for some time and stumbled across this product. The price was reasonable so I decided to roll the dice.Good call!The biggest challenge of the process was getting the armrest off - a two minute youtube video hooked me up with the procedure. After that, it was just a matter of unplugging the old unit and plugging this one in. A minute to replace the armrest and all was good. This really is a simple install job - something that pretty much anyone could do.The switch has worked perfectly. I've had it installed for some two or three weeks now and it's worked perfectly. I expect it to continue to perform as expected.

This is a great switch to save you money if you have a mirror switch that doesn't work anymore. Easy to install and if you need help with that you can find it on YouTube. You just pop off the cover on the driver's door holding the window and mirror switches then use a flat head screw driver to pry the tabs up to take off the power block and the tabs for the switch. Once removed, plug the power block back in and press the new switch into place. Press the cover back on after you have done the above. It works great and at a fair price.

I converted my 2000 GMC Sierra from manual windows and mirrors to power windows and mirrors. I needed factory switches because the donor truck from which I acquired the parts, had a non-working mirror switch. This mirror switch was just what I needed to complete my conversion. It works perfectly and matches the factory switch perfectly. Once I finished all my wiring, this snapped into place on the factory door panel and worked the very first time. In most cases you can't beat Dorman for factory replacement parts. Thanks Dorman and thanks Amazon for fast delivery and carrying these critical parts.
