Installed in my wife's 2014 Jeep compass. Fitment was perfect. Quality housing with thermostats. When installing slowly tighten all three bolts one at a time so it walks in place without binding. No more leaks. Definitely recommend

I was under the impression that this assembly came with the thermostat in the picture . The picture seems to indicate that a separate thermostat was supposed to be in the box. It's not and that was my main problem. So a half hour project put me down for 2 days. Inconvenient but humans make mistakes. A $21.99 refund would be nice since I have to get one at the store tomorrow. As far as the product itself, it feels sturdy and identical to the original. In my experience, Dorman is a quality brand so we'll see what happens... To be continued...

Direct fit for a 2014 Dodge Avenger with 2.4L engine. I used a YouTube video as a guide (by "SilverBullet's Garage").I see complaints about missing a thermostat. To clarify, the main thermostat comes pre-installed behind the bolted on water neck. The smaller, secondary t-stat you have to place into the housing yourself, and comes loose in the box. After replacing the part I had problems with coolant flow/overheating but it turned out to be air stuck in the system. These cars seem to be prone to it. Make sure you park on level ground and bleed/burp the coolant system with the radiator cap off after installing the housing. Add coolant directly to the radiator cap inlet if needed. Temperatures are now holding stead a tick below the half way mark on the temp gauge.Local stores wanted $150 for the same part number. Amazing value here on Amazon.

Recent reviews mentioned that this will only fit years 2009 and above, and anything earlier should buy replacement hoses.Happy to say that it perfectly fit my Dodge Avenger 2013. Lots of online tutorials as well.Came with all the thermostats, and gaskets/o rings

The housing material and quality looks fine, however the thermostat came defective, poor quality nothing comparable to mopar oem part. Make sure you order 2009 hoses first because is very hard to find in regular store, they don't stock them. I had to ordered them and took like another week to come in. Regardless of the thermostat and hoses issue the I had it installed and stopped leaking and worked good!

Purchased item to replace the original housing assembly (113K+ miles) which was leaking. It fit my 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0L. Was a bit hesitant because of some reviews saying it would not fit my vehicle, but opted to purchase based on overall price compared to other websites. One important thing to note is the original heater hoses will not fit on this housing. The OEM heater hoses are larger diameter than fittings on this assembly. However, this was clearly stated on the product description so I purchased the required heater hoses before installation (requires heater hoses from model year 2009 or newer). Otherwise, it was an exact fit for the vehicle. Installation was easier than I anticipated. The coolant was replaced less than six months ago, so I did not drain the system, I just disconnected the radiator/heater hoses with minimal coolant loss. Job was accomplished in less than 2 hours, but I do take longer than most when performing repairs. It stopped the coolant leak i was experiencing with the original housing assembly. So far no leaks (about 1 1/2 months)
