Installed this before a road trip and was happy that it lasted. Drove 3k miles so far in the hot NEW England summer in a stage 0 9-5 and I've had no issues.

Immediately (2 drives) leaked worse than the piece it replaced. Verified leaking from the assembly via an inspection camera. Three words: Made in China. Will be returning right after the replacement Febi-Bilstein unit (also available on Amazon) arrives.

This was an exact match for my 2007 Saab 9-5 Areo. It's been over a month since installing. Seems ok, so far. There a videos online for installation instructions.

perfect replacement part. Doing this on a Saab is a bit of a pain...but not overly difficult. the complete job can be done with a metric 5 thru 13mm socket set as well as a pair of vise grips for the factory type hose clamps. Just remember that to unhook the plug for the harness it slides to unlock... I have seen lots of cars with butchered up plugs from someone not knowing this about Saabs.

Used this to replace the bad CBV in my 2006 Saab 9-5. Just like oem but so much cheaper. working great so far but will update my review after six months to be sure. Definitely worth the money to get the coolant leak fixed!UPDATE 1/11/2017 - Still working just fine. No leaksUPDATE 1/20/2019 - valve has started leaking. Not bad for a few years on a part that’s known to have issues on these Saab’s. Cheap enough to replace every few years I suppose.
