I wanted to buy Ford OEM but the cost was outrageous. So I tried third party sensors but all of them failed either right away or after few thousand miles. But this Dorman sensor is holding up and makes the engine respond much better to throttle input. Didn't realize how engine can run smoother with good ICP sensor but this one does.

for the amount of work to replace sensor [ behind turbo], definitely will not buy again, will buy motorcraft only

It was a quality built piece. Installed easy, had good butt connectors. Truck fired up instantly after install.

Unfortunately, the initial sensor was bad, but they offered a prompt replacement, which works perfectly. These things happen. But VERY IMPORTANT to note: the wires on the pigtail are color-coded - blue/red/black, which pretty closely matched the truck wiring harness (blue/red/dirty brown - almost black). Seemed like a simple connection, like for like. However, after much grief, thrown codes and no starts, and examining the wiring diagram online, I realized that the red on the pigtail is supposed to connect to the dirty brown (almost black!) on the truck, and the black on the pigtail connects to the red on the truck! Seeing the same colors, it's natural to assume they were designed to match - lesson learned for a reasonable assumption! Would have been so much easier if the pigtail was either color-coded to match exactly(!), or had very different colored wires requiring a trace, like purple/green/white, etc.Having said that, the connector is superior to the one that came off - length is good - approx 10-12", the connector fits snug, seals well, and the wires were heat-shrinked and wire loomed. Good quality. Finally, once the replacement sensor was installed, the truck is running better than ever! Throttle response is like a gas engine, the pedal seems lighter (goes faster with less effort) and it shifts better. All around great fix. 5 stars to the customer service, and good quality product (minus the first bad sensor), 4 stars to the goofy wire colors.

Great product, only thing it says selling 2 icp sensors, but only had one in the package, overall great product. Only thing people have to do is read correctly and chose the right icp for there 6.0, this one here is for a 2004.5-2007 only, 2003 to 2004 with throtlle body its a diferent one.

Did what it was supposed to do on my 04 6.0, truck starts up easier. will post if fails, only been on a day let's see how long she last. Install is easy as long as you got the passenger side valve cover ICP and not by the ipr.

Apparently these pieces are notorious for failing if you read enough reviews. This part has been running perfectly in our truck for a couple of months so far and we are very pleased with the performance AND price.
