Installed and test drove 1/2 a mile and parked next day cable seized. Heat shield is worthless. Plastic melted and seized cable. 2 units purchased with same results.

This shifter cable lasted two weeks. It didn’t shift well, was very stiff and finally broke. Save your money and buy from a Ford Dealership!

Heat shield wrap is junk . I just bought this 8-11-2023 and it’s already melted because the heat shield is junk . They don’t even offer a return. Don’t waste your money!!!!!

Same issues as others, heat shield is junk and the plastic cable coating melts causing the the inner cable to not move at all. Do not waste your money on this replacement part. Buy OEM

This cable is a joke worked for maybe 1-2 days then started jamming up. Now my family and I are In The desert on a trip and this cable breaks. Poor manufacturing, it’s cheap China stuff. Call ford spend the extra $40 and get the real part.
