The part was installed and the check engine light went off for 2 1/2 days. The next morning while sitting in line at the emission test station the check engine light comes back on and has been on since. Faulty part. Nothing else is wrong with the vehicle. Has since been checked by 3 more mechanics. Ordering AGAIN elsewhere

Part is fine. Emissions control device, way over priced, but without it properly functioning you will fail the emissions test.

Worked great for about 2 weeks, then the diaphragm inside failed.It fit, but the electrical connection is flimsy.

Product was a direct fit for the 1998 ford f-150 4.2 I was working on. Instantly solved the issue and Dorman is a quality product. I suggest buying both if possible and changing them out as you need to remove the upper plenum and other parts to access them since they are behind the engine/intake. Through Amazon I saved around 40$ and with prime I had it in 2 days so saving 40$ for waiting 2 days is worth it to me.

Much cheaper then Ford and works just as well got them in two days with prime it also came with the plastic clip to hold it to the intake manifold runner

Buy the by the pair, and replace them the same as a pair. these are the same you get at the local parts store at about half the cost. Also the same as some of the E bay sellers, and you do not have the deal with pay pal.Replace both on my 99'windstar they work with out a problem. Van runs much better fuel economy has improved.
