I ordered this part because the error code on my 2003 Chrysler town and country van gave this specific part as solution to emissions leak . However, after much research and taking to my mechanic, I discovered that this part does not exist in my van., unfortunately, too late to return so I’m stuck with it

Bought this for my 2003 Chrysler Voyager LX 2.4L 4 cylinder minivan. After scouring the van and having a second car repair person scour my van we discovered this part does not go on this van despite the listing saying it does. There is no where for this part to fit on this model of vehicle. Returning for the correct part.

Replaced the OEM part with this. Easy install. Used zip ties instead of the brittle plastic clamps that were on the hoses originally.

I was chasing down 3 different evap codes and couldn't find the problem. I even fogged the engine to see what I could find. When I fogged it, I noticed smoke coming out of the LDP filter. When I traced the system I saw this check valve and also found out that is where my high pitch wine was coming from. The sound was almost like a fuel pump wine, only quite a bit louder. Swapped this part out in under 5 min, erased the codes, and 200 miles later I don't even have any pending codes. Seems to work well.
