The part is the correct one. It came in a box and was wrapped. Upon inspection, the part has rust and is dirty and old. I was sent a used part. This will now delay the repair of my car and is an inconvenience to me to get to work. The low rate features are for this, considering I am stalled to install. The part is a good value, but not when you are sent one in this condition.

This took care of my P0401 Code. I could not get this thing off. I ordered a universal 12mm socket and I still could not get it off. So I cut the vacuum lines and relocated it on the firewall in the engine compartment just above where the old one was. The wire connector was long enough to reconnect it, as were the vacuum lines. There was a stud with a nut on the firewall that held a steel line so I loosened the nut and installed the VSV valve on it. Worked out fine.

Had a P0446 code on a 98 Camry for over 4 years. Purchased this through the Amazon Warehouse Deals - which is half price compared to the others . The Warehouse deal is only because the outer box was damaged or dented, but the product inside is usually fine. Look under "Used" to see the WH deal.Anyways the replacement took about 30 min.. the problems encountered 1. The lone rubber pipe near the connector was completely stuck and no amount of pulling could remove it.. finally the tube got torn half way to come off. I had to snip the tube clean with pliers so that it would fit well next.2. Rusted screw on the old one that makes it impossible to remove. A good soaking of PB Blaster and a some back and forth rocking on the older VSV soon 'broke' the VSV mounting leaving one piece still screwed to the Canister mount.. but pretty much clearing the space there for the new one.once the space was there, it was a matter of minutes to put the tubes on, clip in the electrical connector. Since there was no place to 'screw' the VSV in, I used two zip ties to secure it to the plate. ofcourse additionlly it has three rubber tubes and an electrical connector holding it so it should be good.Started up the car, cleared the codes using an OBDII scanner and drove around about 50 miles before taking it for inspection - and it passed!

Purchased as a replacement Evap VSV for a 1998 Toyota Rav4, error code P0446. The Amazon website and most auto parts websites state that the Rav4 needs the 911-603 and that the 911-602 will not fit, that is not correct. The 1998 Rav4 has three hoses attached to the Evap VSV, the 911-603 only has two ports. Buy the 911-602.

Valve was correct for application, worked properly, and the 'check engine' light went out for the first time in several years. The shipping is ridiculous, though. Would be better to use the US Postal Service for most items

Giving it a five star becasue it helped eliminate P0171, P0446 codes simulatneously on my RAV 4 2000 for which the same toyota part number matches; i saved $$$ by DIY and escaped autogarage merciless pricing for the same job! will see how long it lasts. But, lifetime warranty is a plus!

My 1997 Toyota Camry LE V6 had been showing a p0446 which based on various internet searches suggested a malfunctioning vacuum switching value (VSV) that sits on the charcoal canister as the likely cause of that error code. For the 1997 Camry, this sits in the right/rear section of the engine, just below the steering fluid reservoir. 98 camrys and later, the charcoal canister sits above the rear axle. Removing the air intake allows easier access to replacing the VSV. Took only 15 min to replace the VSV. My original camry VSV had a toyota part number of 90910-12109, which was replaced by 90910-12271, which this is a 3rd party equivalent. Works great so far!
