Exact match for my 2004 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4. I was having trouble filling up gas at the pump where it would constantly shut off. After diagnosing and ruling out other possibilities, I decided to swap the canister filter and it did the job. Good product and would recommend.

I was failing smog check due to check engine codes P0442 and P0446. My mechanic correctly identified the need to replace the canister, but quoted me $1,290 because they said they would need to drop the fuel tank to access this part.They were wrong about this, as I was just barely able to access everything without having to drop the tank. So I would recommend everyone with this code go get a smoke check for leaks, and if none are immediately obvious, buy this part before removing the old one. Having the new part will help you know what you are looking for when you remove the old one.Doing this yourself as it can be tricky. But I’m really glad I did—I probably saved over $900. Money well spent!
