This fit my 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. I just needed the plastic handle replaced to pass inspections but they had to do an entire replacement which costs much more time and labor to do.

I didn't find most of the installation any more than expected other than when mounting the sheath to the hood latch itself. the hole was 3/8" but the cable was 10mm. Not having a 10mm bit, I wallered out the hole with a 3/8" until I could get the cable to snap into place.Having read other comments about the line seizing, I dripped oil in one end until it came out the other. I then let it hang for a day to let any extra drip out. Hopefully that will extend it's life.

Cable seized after 4 months. When pulling on handle to open hood the inside metal liner pulled out and the cable would not move. After trying to move the cable/liner back into the plastic sheathing the handle eventually broke from its mount.

this product arrived in a decent time, however when i searched for an 04 saturn vue this is the product that came up, i did not double check, maybe i should have. HOWEVER! when it arrived not only does it not fit my vehicle it is broken, rendering it useless on two fronts for me, very disapointed

Received the cable in a timely manner which was good since the one on the car was broke. It took awhile and three people to get it installed but it is better quality than the original cable.
