Perfect fit for my car and fairly straightforward to install. I duct taped it to the old one and then as I pulled the old one out this one came with it into place. Had to move slowly but still total swap out was 20 minutes or less.

I had a good that wouldn't latch all the way. I was told it was an easy fix and I guess it was. It took so little time I never realized it had been done until I noticed a week or so after my nephew left that he'd taken care of it.

Product arrived broken it was returned swiftly. The packaging was just bubble envelope which didnt protect the cheap plastic hood latch so it broke. Only good was the easy return process

Cable stretched and rusted on my wife's first generations 2004 Pontiac Vibe. The OE GM part was over $50, and is identical to this cable. First generation Vibes were from 2002-2008, so it should fit all those years. Facelifted cars in 2009 and up may use a different cable.This will also fit a first generation Toyota Matrix from 2002-2008 as they share an identical platform.
