Original Connector sleeve was seeping.. after an hour of working on the floor to replace with this doorman connector I now have an outright leak from connector and the piece of paper they call a gasket.. I get to do the job all over.... Thanks for wasting my money and time Doorman...

Paper gasket immediately failed upon installation and dumped ATF everywhere, and then we got a comeback a few days later because the bushing, which needs to be filed slightly in places to install into the transmission, grabs loosely and backs slightly out of the transmission causing the electrical connection to be intermittent. It's amazing how bad this part is.

I pulled the transmission pan out to replace this and after a couple hours work the new Sleeve leaked worse than my original. I went direct to Ford the second attempt and no leaks.

The gasket is junk, it's paper and it's way to thin, luckily I got a very nice thick rubber gasket with the tranny filter, the bypass sleeve it not the same as the original ford one,the one I got was about 1/16 shorter than the original one, I was not able to use it and just took the seals off of it and put them on my original sleeve, would of sent all of it back except I was using a friend's garage and couldn't leave it sit their till I could get ford parts.
