Fits perfectly. Exact fit for 06 Kia spectra. Still driving the car to determine if it fixed my problem which is it going into limp mode sparaticly and getting stuck in 3rd gear. Code was a p0700. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Work perfectly had my Hyundia acting like it had a slip in the transmition. Put in a new speed sensor and problem was solved.

It was in the car for a few weeks before shorting out. The short was so bad that it it practically broke the sensor in two.

I like it. Saved me a load of money to buy it here (~$40 instead of ~$80). and install it myself. I'm no mechanic, but I know how to use a wrench. I was apprehensive about just "taking stuff apart" but a search of internet forums landed me on a very helpful youtube video showing how to get to and replace these parts.This Dorman 917-607 Input speed sensor alone did not fix my problem, but I had to also get the Dorman 917-606 Output speed sensor (which at the time of this posting is labeled by amazon as "Input speed sensor", but they are 2 different parts, both of which fit as direct replacements on my 2001 Hyundai Elantra)Youtube video mentioned above: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCCQobQmp78 or if the link is broken: "How to Replace The Input and Output Speed Sensors On a Hyundai Elantra" by "RatchetsAnd Wrenches"

I replaced my input speed sensor after my car got stuck in 3rd gear. It didn't work. On further inspection I discovered a bolt missing from the top of my transmission. This must've let tons of dirt and moisture in the transmission and may have tripped this sensor as soon as I installed it. So I'm not sure if it was just this part.SO then: Replaced the bolt on the top of my transmission, flushed my transmission fluid, and put in a new input speed sensor I got from the Hyundai dealership. This WORKED. no more check engine light, car running great.

Our 2001 Hyundai was diagnosed and we were told it needed a transaxle rebuild or replace. Found a helpful site online that said otherwise and referred us to this input sensor, we ordered it from Amazon and replaced it in less than an hour. Now the car is running great! The sensor is not cheap but definitely less than a rebuild, unfortunately the sensor is bound to go bad in a few years because they are allegedly designed that way? No matter, the sensor is doing its job and I am impressed that I could do the work myself instead of trusting a shop to diagnose my car with some hyped up, unnecessary repair. I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata. The OBDII code said I needed to replace the input speed sensor due to transmission issues. I picked this part because of price, reviews and free shipping. The part is not the exact OEM part, but matched perfectly in size, shape, and connector fit. It took me 1.5 hours to install but it was easy. The main time was removing several other small engine parts to get clear access to the sensor location. I have had it in for 3 months with no issues. Prior to that my transmission would go into "safety mode" at least once a week. If you are minimally handy, you can save hundreds of $ by doing this yourself.
