I rebuilt my 14 bolt 10 1/2 inch differential with new ring gear new pinion all new bearings new wheel bearings inside and out. since I had it ripped down this far, I replaced my rusty dust shields with these Chinese pieces of junk. The hardest part about the entire Differential rebuild was bending these shields to get them to stop rubbing my rotors. Every time I used a punch to knock down a high spot it created a new high spot in a different area that I wouldn’t know about until the full wheel was assembled,… it took more time per wheel to get these bent to the correct orientation than it did to set my backlash on my ring gear. I would rather over crush five crush sleeves in a row then do another dust shield replacement with these. Incredibly aggravating. Was definitely not worth the cost savings. Buy OEM because the six year olds that made these ones need more training.

The caliper hits it on the bottom on the left side and top on the right side. If they would have turned it just a little bit when making them it would be perfect. Still works.

Everyone loves dorman for all replacement parts. I usually do also for the small stuff. But these are not stamped very well compared to the original parts. The metal thin gauge and the paint scratches off quite easily. When installed and ready to drive away the metal was bent and warped out of out of place and rubbed on the caliber. Made awful screeching noise down the road and could not bend back into shape without removing everything. Wound up returning these and buying directly from GM
