Perfect fit, easy on and off and all new nuts bolts, if you use the old hardware the vibration will still be noticeable .

After reading reviews on the Mercedes forum and was recommended to use the Mercedes OEM part instead. I had no issues with this flex disc. However, I purchased the Mercedes OEM part and installed it at the more critical front of driveshaft and the Dorman at the less critical rear of driveshaft. Both Mercedes and Dorman were nearly identical. WARNING: Make sure you make alignment marks (spray paint) on the tranny yoke / driveshaft and driveshaft / diff yoke prior to removing the old flex disc. It is extremely critically important that the alignment of those assemblies remain the same alignment for they were dynamically balanced at the factory. If you are off by one bolt location, you will get vibration like others got and a damaged flex disc a month later. I learned this lesson on another car in the past. It is not Dorman's fault if you did not match the original alignment correctly, like the other reviews. I reused the old Mercedes bolts instead of the new Dorman bolts.I have driven the car for a week on the freeway and no driveshaft vibration issues.UPDATE: It has been a month and still no vibration issues. Still working great!

I bought two of these for a 1999 E320 as the originals had deteriorated, causing vibration. The parts were fitted by a Mercedes trained Tech. After about 2 000 miles the driveline vibration returned and has gotten progressively worse. The Dorman couplers were replaced with OE Mercedes parts. The vibration has gone. Examination of the couplers showed that the rear one was noticeably softer at Shore 60 vs Shore 72 for the front one. The two couplers were from different production batches.

Great alternative for those who are fixing on a budget. Original Lemforder couplers from the dealership can set you back a couple of hundred dollars each, so getting two for about $70 bucks is a great deal. Make sure your mechanic torques them down properly and be sure the driveline is free of any obstructions. Otherwise, it works as advertised, but may not last as long as you'd want them to.As they say, you get what you pay for, and these fit the bill for the price.
