I was having issues with the hanger bearing on the stock 2-piece drive shaft on my 06 Dodge 3500(crew cab, long box, 4x4 dually with manual trans.). I replaced the stock drive shaft with the Dorman aluminum drive shaft. I wish I would have done it years ago. It only took 15 minutes to swap(you do have to take off the hanger bearing support that attaches to the frame for clearance) and needed no modifications. Now I do not have the 'clicking' of the hanger bearing under torque when I take off with a heavy load. Awesome upgrade.
