Packaged very well , no scratches . Great look on 97 Silverado k1500 , everything works fine . One thing is on mirror tends to shake a little bit when moving, still useful but does blur view very slightly. May14, 2024

The plastic housing is less substantial than the factory original. Mirror movement is good but I think slightly limited on the horizontal. Mirror movement is fast, though. I think the mirror portion (not the housing) shakes a bit at freeway speeds. This is noticeable but not annoying. The value is good. It was difficult to install, but not because the part made it so, but because the door card needs to come off and you have to deal with nearly 30-year old plastic clips and wiring harness connectors.

Mine was not a power mirror, so I just cut the cord off. The nuts were a little hard to get to, but that's on Chevrolet for the design. This bolted right up, no fuss no muss.

Exact perfect fit on both Drv and Pass sides. Can never go wrong with Dorman replacement parts. The existing power mirrors on my 98 GMC Sierra were sun faded and starting to Crack being original 25yr old pieces. These look great and was an easy install. Will always recommend Dorman OEM replacement parts

Very good product for the price. Slight vibration at highway speeds of the glass but good enough for my 1996 Yukon once again for the price paid.

Pros: It fit and installed easily. It's also great that they include new nuts since it's very easy to drop the old ones inside the door. It looks like the original and I think it is the same dimensions.Cons: The mirror itself vibrates constantly while driving, which is very annoying. It also doesn't seem to hold it's adjustment as I have had to readjust it several times a day.

This item arrived almost a week before it's delivery estimate, with very secure packaging. I couldn't be happier to have bought this item through Amazon. The price was at the sweet spot and quality was not overlooked. I have a '96 GMC 1/2 ton and broke on of the mirrors completely off and went looking for a new mirror. The prices were pretty steep, reaching 70, just for one mirror. At the end of the day, I looked on Amazon to see if they had a replacement mirror, and luckily, they did. I ordered it right away and put it on as soon as i got it. It looked spectacularly shiny, as it has been a long time since I had a new mirror, and fit perfectly. Everything looks OE, as if I never had to replace it. The fit was perfect, the motors worked perfectly, and the mirror looks flawless. Definitely will come here in case I need to purchase another replacement part for my truck. The install was easy to those who are not very car savvy. Just take off the cover on the inside of the truck, opposite from the mirror, and take off a sponge packed in. There will only be three nuts which can be taken off with a 10mm wrench, then unhook the wires. Presto! your old mirror is off and the install is just as easy, just make sure you don't drop the wire inside the door, and you're good. All in all, great quality, easy install, anyone can do it.
