Abs light was on. Could see visibly that the existing one had been torn by my tire. Replaced and AB’s light went away pretty much immediately and pedal shutter went away. The grommets weren’t placed in the right place. I had to pop open the mounts and slide the rubber grommets out of them towards the connector. They were super tight above the control arm and way too much slack towards the hub. (View in pic) 4 stars for the grommet being shotty but otherwise did what I needed it to. Just know you will need to pop the plastic clips open and adjust the lengths.

After installing the item the ABS system worked worse than before the park was installed. After trying to diagnose it for two days I finally realized that the Part was bad and caused all kinds of other issues. I went and bought a NTKABS sensor and problem solved. Stay away from this item it is pure junk

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500. There are two part numbers that I found that potentially fit my truck. One is for a hydro boost system (GM PN 19181874) and one for standard vacuum operated brakes (19181873). Amazon indicated that both fit my truck which is incorrect. They are not interchangeable. Make sure you get your RPO code (sticker in glove box) and look up what brakes you have. VIN will not give that information. My RPO code is JC5 for vacuum operated brakes. You can find a listing of RPO codes on the net. I think only HD trucks have the hydro boost but not 100% sure.

Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Do your friends tell you you need to get out more? Well then this is the product for you! When you can't sleep, fix your car. With this product. In the garage. Then you can get your friends off your back by telling them you went out. Just don't tell them to the garage. Seriously though, Dorman makes good stuff. This product is no different. The OE on my 05 Burb lost a clip and the tire chewed through the wire setting off the abs light. Replaced with this and good as new, no more dash light.

I was having trouble with ABS light coming on so suspected these sensor cables might be bad. You can test these yourself (search on internet for procedure and results) which I did but didn't put any stock in my results so I just up and bought two of these sensor cables to replace the existing ones. Turns out wasn't bad cables but instead there was a break in the ABS pump circuit board :( However, I did not really regret buying these cables, they are made much better than the original cables. So though they weren't bad, I was pleased to know I now have some very good sensor cables on there. It's a little bit of work to install them but if you need wheel sensor cables, I would highly recommend these.

My 2000 silverado has had ABS issues for years with the low speed not stopping issues. It's was known problem with the early 00-03 GMs. There is even a silent recall on the issue for the rust belt states. Anyways after having it taken into the dealer and they would run a quick continuity test clean the sensor put it back and call it good. That fix seemed to last for about 5-6 months and back to ABS problems.Ordered these figuring I'd give them a shot for the price if they didn't work I would just go back and pull the ABS fuse again and run without ABS. Did not want to tackle the job of replacing the hubs (which dealer and several mechanics recommended) when the bearings and ball joints were not in need of repair. Just seemed a little over the top.Sensors come packaged nicely along with diaelectric grease for the connections. Was really surprised to see that they were gracious enough to include the allen head bolt to hold it in place. Fits perfectly and was really a no hassle installation. After installation I noticed an immediate difference with my brakes as compared to the old sensors. It seemed the ABS was not as sensitive as it was with the OEM sensor. This was a welcomed flaw if one could say that because anyone who drives regularly on ice/snow conditions will probably attest as well that GM's ABS is a touch over sensitive than it needs to be in order to stop.If you have the skills to change disc brakes (calipers have to be removed to get to sensor) you can do this job yourself and save yourself a few bucks.
