Used on a 2004 Taurus having brake problems. My husband (and others) tried all the obvious repairs without success for any length of time. It was suggested by a client that in his experience with this model car, the problem has always been the brake hose. This piece was ordered, quickly received and just as quickly installed in the car. And then the magic began......no more brake problems after months of attempted repairs and wasted money.

(Husband reviewing) My vehicle is a 2005 Mercury Sable LS, front caliper/rear drum brakes.Got the brake lines (LF and RF sides) today, Saturday, 09/12/20. I had already replaced both front calipers (the LF was the one freezing up and the piston boot was torn) about two weeks ago. 180k on original calipers. Fast forward to 9/09. LF caliper acted like it was freezing up again and getting hot, so must be a bad/collapsed brake line. I did suspect that the brake cylinder might be going bad at first, but I wasn't having those symptoms (pedal to the floor to stop, etc). So, new brakes lines it is. These are the rubber ones coming off the metal ones on inside front fenders. Anyway- brake lines replaced. Took about 30 minutes, each side, bleeding and all.Test Drive- smooth. I don't have the "pull" to the left that I was having when I would brake. Better stopping power as well. Good pedal.Additional- replace all braking components in pairs! If anything should happen over the next month, good or bad, I'll update. For now, it looks like happy motoring!

it is just what I needed. One of the 2 front lines was collapsed. I had to step on the brake line in order to get fluid thru, the fluid would not drip out as it normally would have. Now it drips out.

Got this for my daughter, this is what she says about it:"oh goodness. it solved so many issues. it was the cause of the caliper and rotor going out as well as almost killing a second caliper before it was replaced. 5 stars plus."
