I used these on a 2001 Ford Windstar.Before, I purchased a hardware kit (different manufacturer) from a retail store and some of the springs were misshapen (not incorrect parts, just manufacturing defects) and I had to use some of the old parts. This hardware kit was exactly the same as the old parts, just stronger. I didn't have to mix and match with the old parts and this new kit is still working fine with no issue.
