OMG. This is so convenient and easy to understand. I love that I found this item right on time because I am currently in nursing school and we have to pass our dosage exam with a 100. Everything on this is what we are learning and I feel like this is a great resource to look at for some quick references and examples. I like the material it's printed on. It feels nice and durable.

I am a nursing student and began to do my clinicals. Dosage calculations is one of the scariest things for me but this calculations guide has been useful for me as it is clear and concise.

This reference guide is a great tool for nurses, students and can even be useful for veterinary professionals. My daughter is just about to begin a nursing aid program and I thought that this would be a useful adjunct guide to help her in her studies. I am a retired veterinary technician and I recall the difficulties I had when learning posology in school. It is extremely important because mistakes can impact patient safety. This provides information on basic dose calculations, ie, tablet/capsule formulations based on weight or amount to administer. It also provides info on IV meds, fluid therapy, body surface area, reconstitution and more. It provides examples and easy-to-understand formulas. My only critique of this item is that it arrived folded so it now has a crease in the center that hasn’t flattened out. It’s not really a big deal but it would look better if it were flat.

The info provided is great, a good reference guide. However the photo shown with the listing is a nice flat reference card. It's not laminated, it's just shiny card stock. The item's own packaging is just a thin, clear plastic bag. The item is folded when it’s not meant to be when shipped, most likely because the product packaging it comes in does nothing to protect it. The product’s original packaging should include a thick piece of cardboard backing. The value for cost is not good, it's overpriced for a piece of thick paper. I'm finding it hard to appreciate the info due to the poor quality and lack of appropriate original packaging, which caused me to receive a wrinkled reference sheet. I had planned to carry this on my clipboard.

I use this dosage calculations chart as a reference guide to help instruction with the hybrid nursing class that I teach. The students find the chart very useful with helping them to learn and understand how to compute dosage calculations and IV drip rates. Detailed metric system conversions and temperature conversions are missing but other than that, this s a very useful teaching tool and a great reference tool for anyone in the health care field.

This is a great resource for the nursing student in your life. It covers many of the common med calculation and dosage problems that a nursing student may encounter. This is a cardboard item with a plastic coating. For long term use, I would suggest laminating it.
