The 3/8" Double-End Spotweld Cutter makes removing body panels fast and easy. The hollow design cuts around the spot weld so weld hardness does not affect tool sharpness. When one end becomes dull, simply unscrew the cutter and flip it over using the new teeth on the other side. An adjustable depth rod sets the tool so only the outer panel is cut, leaving the underlying panel undamaged.

Cut fast no problems. Drilled pilot hole to hold the cutter. I used them on an old Eastwood cutter mandrel. Fit fine.

Cuts through Ford spot welds. A great tool to have in your tool box if you are doing body work. Recomend getting the cutting lube and a small brush to clean and lube as you go. Makes your bits last longer.

Using to cut spot welds for some sheet metal replacements on a 69 Chevelle restoration I’m doing. These work good some netter than other. Meaning there’s 3 in a pack each double sided. Well some I can get 10 or 12 spot welds drilled off before having to either turn the cutter around or swap out completely. Others will yield 3 or 4. But it’s getting it done.

Cleanly machined. Not rough with casting flash like the amazon picture shows. Great and lasts long especially if you use some cutting fluid.

Best way to drill out spot welds, just don't press to hard, as the tips can break off. Take your time and go on a slower speed. Used these in a full resto on a classic car. Had to take off every piece off sheetmetal except roof, floor, and firewall.

The product work better then expected! I'm building a chopped 53 plymouth Cambridge putting on a 2006 dodge magnum unibody Had to cut the magnum lenghth by 6 inches so the Blair spot weld cutter work perfect Thanks Carl.
