You paid $20 for a wine corker. Yes the grips are going to wear out, boohoo. Grab some hot glue and make it work cuz everything else works. Great product for the price

I didn't understand how to use it so I resorted to using a hammer on the corks. Turns out you feed the cork into the opening in the red section. When I realised I was an idiot it became very easy to cork properly.

The product works as intended. If you actually research how to cork you’ll find the product does what it’s meant to. Soak the corks in water people…

This was my first time corking bottles of wine, but it was very easy to use and worked perfectly.

It was extremely easy to use. No issues at all. It was a little intimidating at first but easy to get the hang of.

Love that tool, easy, light and is doing what expected… don’t spend more money on it, my son (12) was able to get the cork into the bottles.I did 24 bottles without any problems…

The press works great on most wine bottles and does not require a lot of force to install corks. I found it stable when pressing corks in, as long as you exert force straight down. The only problem I found was that the metal plunger did not center on the corks and got very near the glass sides of the bottle's neck.

Hard to use, Corks would not insert straight or completely, Red plastic bottle protectors broke first time used... Basically a complete piece of junk ...spend some more money on something better

This is a nice set. The corker is all metal except for a couple protective silicone sleeves and the interior cork chute which is plastic. The corks are genuine cork, not synthetic, and the shrink sleeves are easy to secure with a regular hair dryer--no heat gun or steam necessary. The corks are rather dry though, so they can break if you try to reuse them to close your bottle by hand and try to pull them back out. This is my first foray into using regular corks for my bottles rather than ones with a plastic top, so I am not sure how "normal" that might be for new corks.I used this to bottle some home made liqueur. The corker is very simple to use. You just put the cork in the top of the pusher (not into the bottle), put the pusher onto the bottle and bring down the handles. The handles close two arms around the top of the standard size wine bottle to hold it, and pull down a plunger to force the cork into the bottle. The arms that hold the bottle are metal and have silicone sleeves covering them. The unit comes with replacement sleeves. The plunger is narrower than the cork so it leaves the top of the cork with a circular dent in it instead of a nice flat surface as you would expect. It does push the cork even with the bottle opening though, so the shrink sleeves fit properly.I am happy with this set.
