This replacement for my Lenox unit worked like a charm. It did have a cover over the contactor section (I assume to keep moisture out). Got everything wired up, turned on power outside then at the thermostat. Bang...off and running again.

Always have a spare contactor like this on hand.

Installed on my air conditioner a few months ago, still working great. It is OEM for my Lennox.

It is so easy to replace even the most novice of DIYers can do it! First and most important DISCONNECT THE POWER to the unit! My A/C unit had only two small screws to remove the cover over the part. After it was removed, I took several photos of the old one before any wires were removed. Simply take the wires off the old one, remove two screws that hold the old part in place, replace the new one, re-attach the wires and the cover, apply power and you're done! I did not ask a contractor for a quote but a neighbor said it would have cost me around $150 to have it done. Wow! Saved me a bundle!

Worked great as a direct replacement on my Lennox heat pump. I no longer have to go out and clean the contacts on my old one to get the air running for a few days at a time. Since installing this I have had no issues with my air. And I'm only out a few bucks for the part rather than hundreds for a service call. Easy to install as well. Just please please please be smart if you are not "smart" around electricity.

One of the outside bakelite sides was broken off, I superglued it back and filled in the empty spots with JB weld and installed it in my Lennox unit. I noticed it looked the same as old one except Made in USA it was made in China, go figure! It wasn't packed well enough to go through the mail, in a thin parts box loose in an envelope and broke.
