Bought two. One for my wife (she loved it) and one for y Mother-in-law (she loved it too). Looks great against sunlight. Be careful They are on the smaller size BUT it fit their windows good.

READ THE DESCRIPTION CLOSELY! Look at the photos and measurements. My husband saw these and asked it I liked them because we love bird watching. Neither of us read the description closely enough, our bad. Looked at photos, looked cute. So he bought. They are very small. I’ll keep them but if I had read the description and looked at the measurements I would have passed on them. Look at the details and don’t make the same mistake we did. It was our mistake.

The craftsmanship is well done but we were under the impression that the product was like stained glass, it is not the colors are solid, so they are less appealing than what we were hoping we would get.

I expected this to be bigger based on the photos of the product, and that's on me for not reading the sizes better. This made a really nice gift for my Mother in Law who loves it.

A few people mention the chain choice. Why not a small clasp on each rather than expecting customers to open the link on one end? The clasp could be simpler in any event and darker light the chain.

These are two GLASS window hanging decorations and they are packaged by the maker of the product (NOT Amazon) in a plastic baggie and put inside a plain, thin paper box with ZERO bubble wrap or tissue paper. Not an Amazon mistake, but that box was put inside an Amazon envelope and obviously, the item broke. There was absolutely nothing to protect the product at all from the seller. The only cushion was from Amazon's envelope. Don't have time to return it since it's a gift, so I'm just gluing it back together since I was lucky enough to not have any glass breakage, just the frame. In addition, the item is smaller than I expected, but I'm sure that's from my lack of effort reading dimensions. The glass itself is not very transparent, appears more opaque than I would think most people would prefer.

Wish I had read the other reviews - the description is misleading as it isn’t glass and so doesn’t let the light through. It’s still pretty but not what I wanted.

This is described as stained glass window decoration but it's enamel and not glass so light doesn't shine through it. One of the 2 was broken in half when it arrived and it costs £1.99 to return at post office

Lovely design and they are nice on windows. However I was expecting them to let the light through like stained glass. A bit disappointed but my mother in law who are a birds enthusiast likes them.

Chain needs to be attached on both ends of the item, not one and at that one end ...the chain was attached on one side using the clasp provided. Not sure why the clasp was provided. I had to get pliers and separate the circular rings in order to attach them on each end, then attach chain back onto rings and use pliers to close the ring in order to keep the chain on. Not sure how they claim 'simple installation'.One of the birds on the 4 bird item was broken off. I am attempting to fix it myself, though I shouldn't have to glue it back on and hope it holds. Packaging didn't show any damage so it had to be packed and shipped broken. Item was painted which I guess was in the description but my mistake as I thought I was purchasing stained glass that the sun would shine thru. Item appears to be plastic as opposed to the description of ''Glass Window Decorations''. My mistake in not completely reading all the reviews.Unable to glue the 4th bird with the hole to attach chain back on. It was like trying to glue to pieces of pencil lead together. I was however able to connect chain at another location (a branch) and I now have a '3 bird' and a '7 bird' item.
