The gasket doesn't really fit so it is hard to seal the strainer in there properly. The strainer doesn't work without the gasket either. The holes in the strainer are too large and small tea leaves like Roobois can get through.

I LOVE my mug!! This is the best for when I have to leave my desk at work to do something. I always come back to hot coffee! The lid is nice and secure. I've even shaken my prework mix in it without one little leak. The removable strainer is the easiest to clean of any of my tea mugs. I like big loose leaf, so it works perfectly.

I'm used to freezing glassware with an inch or so of liquid in it for quick cold beverages. I do this all the time with crystal and vintage glassware! This one shattered in my freezer. Waste of money.& seriously, a tea strainer in a glass that size? Don't see that working out either.

I ordered and received the blue mug. I love it! It's glass, double walled, and exactly as described. Would it be good for loose tea? I'm not quite sure about that. I use it for my tea bags in the bottom, pop the "filter" in place and drink without the tea bags splashing out. However I liked to continually steep my tea. You could also place tea bags in the filter for easy removal (especially for the tagless kind) after steeping.Great mug, I LOVE IT!

when arrived was not as what was seen in picture- filter had much larger holes
