Fitting Tips: These shoes have a roomier toe box and a snugger fitting heel. They can be ordered one width narrower or a half size shorter to achieve a similar fit. The thicker liner may make these shoes feel snugger than some of the other styles.

I've got a wide overpronation so it's hard for me to find shoes that live up to their description. I love them and thank you. Also, I'm a woman who cannot find 11.5 x wide so finding a sleek not overly masculine shoe was a great find in a 9.5 x-wide.

Getting the size right was a big deal to me. I was ready to purchase them using my normal size (10.5), then I seen a "AI" note that indicated that other reviews were saying that the show runs a bit smaller and that I should bump it up a 1/2 size bigger, so I did, to 11. I'm glad I seen that note, the shoes fit perfectly

So, this is a good looking shoe! It comes with two different inserts. One is just a blue thin insert the other is a more orthopedic looking insert.Here is the reason for the 4 star review. The flat blue insert doesn't offer any real advantage over no insert. The orthopedic insert feels fantastic but and it's a big BUT, the orthopedic insert pushes my foot up too far and it makes the shoes extremely tight and uncomfortable over the top of my foot.Will these stretch during a break in period? Maybe, but if they don't I wouldn't be able to return them. It's too bad because I REALLY like these shoes!

Shoes did not come in the original box, so there is nothing to indicate the actual size of the shoes. They seem much bigger than 11 1/2 wide. There are no inserts with the shoes, therefore I am led to believe they are not new, but returns. Waiting to hear back from the seller. If they can work with me, I'll update this review.

I have thick custom orthotic inserts. One of them has added mass for a missing toe. These boots work perfectly with the inserts. Normal shoe size was ordered. Can't say enough about the product. They look great from top and side, while offering significant comfort on thick soles. They are not clunky - lightweight for sure. And they breathe well. Def not dorky looking Frankenstein diabetic foot wear. Added bonus... they don't have the company name plastered on the side - can't stand that stuff. Bottom line, these are the most approachable diabetic friendly shoes I've found. Get some!

Over the years and consultation with several podiatrists have not brought me the relief that these chukkas have to my life. These have to be one of the finest brand of shoes I have ever worn. Perfect fit and fine craftsmanship have solved my foot problems! No way to extend my sincerest thanks but I know which shoes I buy and wear from this day forward!

I have a very wide foot so it's difficult to find shoes that properly fit. These shoes are comfortable and appear to be well made. However, after wearing them for a couple of weeks they begin to make a very annoying noise when I walked. I believe the noise has something to do with soles of the shoe being extremely flexible which brings up another question as to the durability of the soles.
